Welcome to Etterbeek, a vibrant municipality in the heart of the Brussels region, known for its pleasant living environment, green spaces like Leopold Park, and friendly atmosphere. In this city where generations come together—from the bustling student life around the VUB to peaceful residential neighborhoods like the Squares district—neighborly support truly matters. Our platform connects Etterbeek residents looking for a helping hand with their daily tasks to local talents ready to share their skills, strengthening the social fabric and solidarity within our beautiful community.
Whether you live near the Etterbeek cemetery, around Chasse Royale, or close to the town hall, the need for home services is diverse and wide-ranging. A helping hand to assemble that newly purchased Swedish furniture, assistance maintaining your blooming garden along Avenue de Tervueren, or reliable cleaning help to keep your home spotless—the possibilities for mutual aid are endless. Our goal is to make these neighborly exchanges easier by offering a broad range of services tailored to life in Etterbeek. Imagine being able to quickly find a trustworthy person to babysit your kids for an evening or to accompany your elderly relatives to their appointments.
Life in Etterbeek also means an active community where specific requests arise. Need a hand with DIY, like fixing that wobbly shelf in your apartment near the Sciences district? You can find help fast. Gardening enthusiasts can get assistance tending their plots, whether on a sunny balcony or in a small courtyard garden. For those juggling a busy schedule, cleaning help is the perfect solution to keep your home tidy and welcoming. Childcare is also in high demand, giving parents a chance to relax with peace of mind, knowing their little ones are in good hands. And let's not forget the invaluable support for our seniors, whether it's a friendly visit, help with grocery shopping, or accompaniment to appointments.
Beyond everyday tasks, other needs come up. Pet sitting, for instance, is essential for pet owners going on vacation or away for work. Students and young professionals can find homework help or get support with administrative paperwork through administrative assistance. For those struggling with technology, IT support is here to demystify computers and the internet. Finally, wellness services, like a relaxing in-home massage, or home sitting while you're away, round out this local mutual aid offering.
